Product information "Gallbladder Tea St. Severin"
Gallen-T St. Severin is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for the dietary management of reduced bile production and secretion. A decrease in bile production or secretion negatively affects fat metabolism and may lead to dyspeptic complaints. Bitter plants can be especially helpful here. These bitter substances, also called amara, stimulate the secretion of digestive juices, including bile, and thus support digestion. This tea can help promote bile production and flow and relieve cramping discomfort of the gallbladder and bile ducts. All ingredients contribute to the normalization of liver and bile function, and consequently lipid metabolism.
Recommended use:
3–4 times daily, pour ½ tablespoon (2 g) of the mixture over 75 ml of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes, strain and drink.
Ingredients:
Artichoke leaf, yarrow herb, dandelion root and herb, wormwood herb, and peppermint leaf.
Notes:
Use only under medical supervision. Do not use if intolerant to any of the ingredients. Not suitable in cases of bile duct obstruction. Caution in case of hypersensitivity to plants from the daisy family.
