Bronchial Tea St. Severin
Bronchial-T St. Severin is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for the dietary management of bronchitis and whooping cough. Our bronchi form a vast and highly branched network of fine tubes in the lungs and are thus a vital part of the respiratory system. When the delicate cilia, responsible for cleaning the bronchi, are damaged, this can lead to increased mucus production, which accumulates. Increased fluid intake helps to liquefy the thick mucus and transport it out. The time-tested combination of mallow, plantain, thyme, Iceland moss, and mullein flower makes a valuable contribution to calming irritated bronchi. In addition, the mucins contained in the plants protect the bronchi by covering the mucous membranes like a protective layer and shielding them from irritation. Recommended use: 2–3 times daily, pour 1 tablespoon (4 g) of the mixture over 200 ml of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes, strain and drink. Ingredients: Mallow leaf, plantain leaf, mullein flower, thyme herb, and Iceland moss. Notes: Use only under medical supervision. Store out of reach of small children at room temperature. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
